Turning Virtual Mailbox Email Alerts Into Instant Phone Notifications
Virtual mailbox services (Anytime Mailbox, iPostal1, Earth Class Mail, and similar) solve a real problem: they scan your physical mail and let you view it from anywhere. Notification support varies by provider and plan, and for many people the default is still an ordinary email, sent to whatever address you signed up with, rather than a phone push.
Why an email notification isn't the same as a push
